HARBORFEST 2010, SUNDAY, JUNE 6th!

PORT WASHINGTON HARBORFEST -- Come for the Festival !
This Sunday, June 6th, is the annual HarborFest in Port Washington! It's right on the water, at the dock on lower Main Street. There will be lots of fun things to do for the whole family, so bring everybody and spread the word. There are large ships; there are some pirates; there's a ton of yummy, yummy food from local restaurants who have moved onto the dock for the day; there are street vendors selling their wares; there are many arts-and-craft goings-on; but most prevalent is FUN! It's from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., so there's plenty of time to see everything. You will even be able to hear stuff, too, because there will be music to round out all of your senses.

Hear the sounds; see, feel, and smell the salty air and water; and taste any number of delightful eats and drinks. You can also enjoy the Wells Fargo stage coach ride and the model boat regatta -- or take a cruise on the tall ship SoundWaters, an eighty-foot, three-masted schooner (pictured), for a small charge -- or bring a blanket and just relax. No matter how you choose to spend your day at the fair, be confident that you, your friends, and your family will all have a great and enjoyable time!

Come early so you can park close. Better yet, park at the train station and take the shuttle bus or trolley the few blocks down the hill to the dock. All parking is free on Sunday, as are the shuttle buses and trolleys. Even take the LIRR to Port Washington, then hop a shuttle or trolley to the Fest. There are also shuttles operating from Manorhaven Park, if you want to park there.

Stop by the Cow Bay Business Network booth to find out how to join the local networking group and see my ducks -- the Aflac variety and a few others. I'll be glad to give you some information on Aflac programs and answer questions you may have. I will be at the booth on and off all day, and information will be at the booth at all times.

Just ENJOY ! ! !
