HARBORFEST 2011, SUNDAY, JUNE 5th!

PORT WASHINGTON HARBORFEST -- Come for the Festival !
This Sunday, June 5th, is the annual HarborFest in Port Washington! Right on the water, at the dock on lower Main Street, next to Louie's there will be lots of fun things to do for the whole family, so bring everybody and spread the word. There are lots of boats; there are some pirates; there's a ton of yummy, yummy food from local restaurants who have moved onto the dock for the day; there are street vendors selling their wares; there are many arts-and-craft goings-on; but most prevalent is FUN! It's from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M., so there's plenty of time to see everything. There's even live music!

Hear the sounds; see, feel, and smell the salty air and water; and taste any number of delightful eats and drinks. You can also enjoy the Wells Fargo stage coach ride and the model boat regatta -- or take a cruise -- or bring a blanket or chair and just relax. No matter how you choose to spend your day at the fair, be confident that you, your friends, and your family will all have a great and enjoyable time! Don't forget the sunscreen!

You can park close in the surrounding neighborhood. Better yet, park at the Port Washington train station and take the shuttle bus or trolley the few blocks down the hill to the dock. All parking is free on Sunday, as are the shuttle buses and trolleys. Even take the LIRR to Port Washington, then hop a shuttle or trolley to the Fest. There are also shuttles operating from Manorhaven Park on Manorhaven Boulevard, if you want to park there.

Stop by the Cow Bay Business Network (CBBN) booth to find out how to join Port Washington's local networking group, CBBN, and see my ducks -- the Aflac variety and maybe a few others. I'll be glad to give you some information on Aflac programs -- to help you and your family through tough times -- and answer questions you may have. I will be at the booth on and off all day, and information will be at the booth at all times.

Just spread the word, and come and ENJOY ! ! !
